What's a MuleSoft? (Maybe) An answer to that and many other questions in this, the Daily Crunch for March 21, 2018.
Enterprise software: The land of companies called things like "MuleSoft." I'm sure they do great stuff, and enterprise tech is where it's at when it comes to deal size, but I'll probably never find out anything more about this.
How about that Benioff though, right? Quite the character.
People just want to hear from Facebook's near-celebrity senior leadership. Word is, we'll hear from Mark sometime today. Fair warning: It's probably not going to satisfy critics.
Google is reportedly making progress with a planned purchase of Lytro, the light-field imaging technology company that put a couple disappointing consumer products into market before pivoting to working with Hollywood on commercial camera tech. Their stuff is cool, and Google might be able to use it a way that makes more sense.
I mean, that's fine. The kitties are at least super adorable.
Google's not just buying an imaging startup, it's also purchasing real estate in NYC. Valuable real estate. It's got a new building in Chelsea Market in Manhattan, which will be its new primary base of operations in New York.
Hey everyone: Uber would really like you to use its Uber Freight trucking platform. It's like Uber, but for trucking, and now there's a benefits program attached to it to provide discounts on fuel, service and more.
Tons more companies. So many.
